Main Responsibilities
- Drive the functional strategic priorities of Lending including credit model rollouts organizational alignment system architecture and sourcing.
- Oversee and review the analysis and evaluation of credit rating proposals from Lending Units using various credit tools information and documents ensuring a holistic and wellsubstantiated assessment of credit risk and mitigants for existing and prospective borrowers.
- Ensure accurate assessment of credit risk ratings and classifications with strict adherence to documentation standards and bank policies.
- Guarantee highquality and timely completion of account renewals evaluations of prospective borrowers credit analyses financial spreading covenant monitoring and other creditrelated requests and reports.
- Lead manage and oversee the performance operational output and effectiveness of ING Hubs PH Global Lending Support ensuring efficient workflows high productivity and consistent outcomes.
- Establish clear goals and objectives for the department providing strategic direction coaching and leadership across areas such as staff development performance management and recruitment.
- Collaborate effectively with global crossfunctional departments across various frontoffice lending locations local hub domains requiring flexibility in work hours ways of working and organizational design.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for issues related to service levels (timeliness accuracy completeness) and capacity.
- Drive continuous improvement by incorporating new policies and identifying opportunities to strengthen processes mitigate risks enhance technology and tooling and elevate working practices.
- Partner with both local and global leaders and functional counterparts on strategic and tactical priorities to strengthen and mature the credit capability in Manila.
- Oversee auditrelated requirements in coordination with the banks audit function.
