Job Summary
Were working with an established data-driven tech company that operates at scale across multiple markets. Their teams are driving innovation powered by modern data infrastructure and theyre now looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to help shape the next phase of that journey.
In this role youll be central to building and evolving the companys data foundation enabling cross-functional teams to turn complex information into actionable insights.
Tasks
What youll do
- Build and evolve data pipelines using Scala Spark and AWS (Step Functions CloudWatch SNS Athena).
- Shape and maintain a company-wide data mesh architecture that delivers trusted consistent data across all teams.
- Create intuitive dashboards and data models using SQL Tableau Looker and Google Analytics.
- Automate and optimise workflows with CI/CD (CircleCI) for smooth reliable deployments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Google Workspace Jira and Figma to align goals and deliver insights.
Requirements
- Strong background in data engineering and analytics particularly building large-scale high-performance pipelines in Scala/Spark.
- Expertise in SQL development and data modelling with a focus on performance scalability and maintainability.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and CI/CD automation.
- Proficiency with Tableau Looker and Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills able to translate technical complexity into actionable insight for non-technical partners.
- A proactive quality-focused mindset constantly looking for ways to make data more accessible and impactful.
