AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer  at Swiss Marketplace Groups Real Estate Business Unit you will contribute to the data hub for the leading real estate platforms in Switzerland which includes and among others. You will be part of a cross-functional agile data team with an open mindset and teammates who enjoy learning new skills and sharing theirs.

You will design build and deploy AI solutions with a strong focus on LLM-powered systems including chatbots information retrieval and generative AI applications. You will work as part of the Data Science & Engineering team collaborating closely with data scientists engineers and product stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI features.

About The Position

• Design and implement LLM-based use cases (chatbots RAG systems summarization classification evaluation).

• Integrate LLMs with internal data sources using retrieval techniques (vector search embeddings).

• Build evaluate and monitor Generative AI pipelines from experimentation to production.

• Apply best practices for scalable reliable and responsible AI systems.

• Perform data analysis and prompt experimentation to improve model performance and user experience.

• Write review and debug production-grade Python code.

• Support and improve existing ML/AI systems (recommendations predictions fraud classification).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and evaluation metrics.

• Report to the Head of Data Engineering & Science.

Qualifications :

• 3 years of experience in ML AI or applied data science roles (Machine Learning Engineer Data Scientist etc).

• Solid Python skills (SQL  is a plus).

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks (e.g. OpenAI APIs LangChain LlamaIndex Hugging Face).

• Experience building chatbots and RAG / information retrieval systems.

• Strong understanding of ML pipelines: data ingestion feature engineering training deployment monitoring.

• Experience deploying AI/ML models to production (APIs retraining experiment tracking).

• Familiarity with vector databases embeddings and search systems is a strong plus.

• Comfortable working with large heterogeneous datasets.

• Ability to quickly understand new datasets and business problems.

• Team-oriented proactive and comfortable with ambiguity.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Motivation to stay up to date with fast-moving AI and LLM technologies.
