Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices payments to vendors and maintaining strong financial records. This role also supports customer vetting and assists with maintaining efficient accounting operations.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service in all aspects of the role
Answer phones emails etc.
Complete assigned tasks for the vetting and setting up of new customers
Accounts payable
Vetting Customers

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications

Strong customer service skills
High attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
Work ethic second-to-none
Excellent typing and computer skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs Sheets etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
Experience in a clerical position/office setting
Experience in the Transportation or Logistics Industry is a plus but not required
