Job Summary

The Business Development and Marketing Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting firmwide growth initiatives. Working closely with marketing team members attorneys and staff this position helps execute client development and marketing projects. The Coordinator builds a strong understanding of the firms services people and clients and delivers high-quality on-brand materials and research that strengthen client relationships and generate new business FUNCTIONSThe positions essential functions include but are not limited to:Assists in the preparation and tracking of pitches proposals RFP responses and related the firms business development infrastructureincluding collateral experience databases contact lists and opportunity trackingto ensure materials are accurate consistent and the preparation and submission of rankings awards surveys league tables and other recognitions for assigned practice and industry information on the firms website and and edits practice and industry group descriptions lawyer biographies client presentations and other materials to support business development research on clients and prospective clients gathering market and competitive intelligence to deepen understanding of client industries and legal firm visibility through branded collateral social media sponsorships and client administrative support for meetings travel and department across offices and teams to align efforts share information and uphold firmwide data-entry and other administrative tasks including marketing-related expenses and invoices as needed to support department to travel to firm offices and work extended hours during peak proposal or event functions as retains the right to add to or change the functions of this position at any & EducationMinimum of two years of marketing or business development experience preferably in a law firm or other professional services degree in marketing communications or a related field SkillsProficient in Microsoft Word (including use of styles) PowerPoint and in WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat InDesign Photoshop Illustrator) learning and using a variety of web-based and AI platforms such as JD Supra Westlaw ChatGPT Perplexity Canva learning and using CRM and ERM platforms such as HubSpot InterAction Salesforce or Skills & AbilitiesExcellent writing editing and proofreading interpersonal communication attention to detail organization and to manage multiple projects and to maintain confidentiality and exercise -oriented and accountable contributing to a positive firm culture through professionalism collaboration and enthusiasm for the InformationThis is a hybrid role with an in-office requirement of 3 days a week and the ability to work occasional extended hours as travel to other firm offices may be Nave is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
