Job Summary

Conveyancing/Holiday Relief Float

This is a dynamic Conveyancing / Holiday Relief Float position ideal for an experienced Queensland conveyancer who enjoys variety and flexibility in their work.

Your primary responsibility will be to cover planned leave for conveyancers and administrative staff across the practice. During periods where leave cover is not required you will assist the team by supporting overflow matters and administrative tasks as needed.

You will work closely with a skilled and collaborative team and will have administration support when covering conveyancer leave. The role offers flexibility autonomy and exposure to a broad range of matters making it an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced well-structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holiday relief coverage for conveyancers and administrative staff
  • Manage and settle conveyancing matters efficiently during leave cover
  • Assist with overflow conveyancing and administrative work when required
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work collaboratively as a productive and contributing team member
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy organisation and professionalism

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years current Queensland conveyancing experience
  • Proven ability to manage and settle approximately 30 matters per month in a productive manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Professional presentation and communication style
  • Personable flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Experience with Smokeball LEAP TriConvey and PEXA is advantageous but not essential
