JOB TITLE: Database Administrator

PAY RATE: $100-110/hour

Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Summary:

Administer maintain and support Oracle RDBMS (19c) databases in a production environment
Administer and support Oracle Fusion Middleware (12c) components
Perform Oracle RMAN backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability
Provide on-call support for Oracle database and middleware systems to resolve incidents and outages
Install configure patch and maintain Oracle software on RedHat Linux systems
Apply and manage digital certificates to enable encryption and secure communications
Monitor database and middleware performance; identify and resolve performance availability and capacity issues
Support system upgrades patches and security updates in compliance with program requirements
Troubleshoot complex database and middleware issues and provide root-cause analysis
Support cybersecurity and compliance requirements in accordance with government and customer standards
Collaborate with system administrators cybersecurity teams and application owners to ensure system reliability and security
Create and maintain system documentation procedures and operational guides

Requirements:

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Experience administering Oracle RDBMS (19c)
Experience administering Oracle Fusion Middleware (12c)
Experience with Oracle RMAN backup and restore processes
Experience providing on-call support for Oracle database and middleware environments
Experience administering software on RedHat Linux
Experience applying digital certificates to enable encryption
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
Experience supporting FBM Program database and middleware systems
Experience with CIPS DoD DFARS NIST 800-171 and DISA RMF cyber controls
Experience administering RedHat OpenShift container environments
Experience with FBM Oracle IT systems and applications
