| Position Overview | We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Business Analyst to support the Eligibility Data Warehouse Team within the Client Eligibility Group. This team plays a critical role in delivering accurate and timely data to support public assistance programs across the State of Michigan. The Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring business needs are translated into actionable data and reporting solutions. The role requires strong SQL skills deep understanding of data analysis and experience working in Agile environments. This is a hybrid onsite role requiring candidates to work in office two days per week in Lansing MI. Only local candidates within two hours of Lansing MI will be considered. There is no remote-only option. |

Collaborate with DHHS program staff and technical teams to gather analyze and document business requirements. -
Translate business needs into clear reporting and data requirements. -
Develop and execute ad hoc SQL queries to extract analyze and validate data. -
Create and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL-based tools. -
Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot reporting issues. -
Support enhancements and integrations related to data reporting and analytics. -
Participate in process improvement initiatives gap analysis and change management. -
Assist stakeholders in understanding data definitions structures and interpretation. -
Provide training and technical support to end users. -
Differentiate between defects and new business requirements. -
Develop training materials and documentation. -
Design develop and execute test plans for applications and subsystems. -
Create or collect test data and validate system outputs. -
Participate in artifact reviews to ensure compliance with agency and security standards. -
Identify and document security requirements and standards. |
