DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash focused on exploring robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics over the long term. The team works on applying autonomous technologies in a service used by millions of people.

About the Role

As a Technical Recruiter you will partner closely with engineering and robotics leadership to own full-cycle hiring for robotics and autonomy initiatives-from intake and sourcing strategy through offer close. You will leverage market knowledge and talent insights to attract highly specialized candidates advise leaders on hiring priorities and interview strategy and drive structured inclusive hiring processes. This role requires strong teamwork interpersonal skills and technical literacy to evaluate engineering talent while representing the DoorDash brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with DoorDash Labs leaders to qualify technical requirements and develop tailored hiring strategies
  • Collaborate with sourcing teams to review pipelines and maintain a steady flow of specialized talent
  • Lead offer and closing processes including compensation discussions and candidate engagement
  • Use data market insights and industry trends to support creative closing strategies
  • Drive interview best practices and help maintain a high-quality consistent candidate experience

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting within autonomy robotics or a similar niche engineering field
  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence leadership decisions
  • Strong ability to assess technical talent and guide others on evaluation standards
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging internal and external leaders
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing timelines
  • Proficiency sourcing with LinkedIn and alternative sourcing techniques
