Join our team in Women and Childrens Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). With 6 Labor & Delivery Rooms and an 18 bed postpartum floor you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs administering treatments and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. Full Time - Nights

How youll contribute

A Labor and Delivery RN who excels in this role:

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatment.

Documents patient care given.

Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team physician patient and family.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What were looking for

Education: Associate degree required. BSN preferred.

Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Arkansas or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with the proper Arkansas paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
