The newBusiness Unit Marine Solutions part of the Ocean Divisionaimstostrengthen our market position and leverage synergiesby focusingon the coreof the twoformerBusinessUnits:BU WWF (Water Wind and Fuel Solutions) and BU HGS (Heat & Gas Systems).In this new organisation we are looking for a Business Controller.

About the Job

TheBUBusiness Controlleris a senior executive responsible foroverallfinanceresponsibility for the Business Unit driving strategy business performancefollowup and financialaspectsalsorisk and compliance management as well aslegalsupport will be hosted within the area of responsibility.

The Business Controller will advise the Business Unit President and the Business unit management team members in business control from a global perspective assess thefinancial impactofdecision and business directions. Youwill work closely withthe Sales Companies and other stakeholders in the Group and will lead a financial team. Therefore a proven track record in similar positions is a requirement for this role.

The position will report to Business UnitPresident as the direct managerand will be an active memberof the BU Marine Solutions Management Team.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the definition and implementation of the strategy in theBusiness Unitby translating strategy into business plans andassistin the establishment of measurable targets and KPIs to ensure targets are met.

• Evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions builds scenarios and recommend actions.

• Promote initiatives to achieve growth and cost savings as well as strengthen responsiveness to customersand business accountability within the BU.

• Ensure accuracy of financial information used in theBusiness Unitto support the improvement of both commercial and operational related processesbyusing AlfaLavalsstandard report enhanced with specialized reports and the use of latest technologies for analytics and reporting.

• Drive improvement of cash flow operating working capital financial analysisplanningand reporting processes in theBusiness Unit.

• Provide analysis support to assess business risk exposure and provide input to define risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance.

• Identifyand manage potential risks relating to contract agreements.

• Being a business partner working with other functions in the organization to drive business improvements and change.

• Build andlead the financial team in the Business Unitconsisting out of financial managers riskcomplianceand legalexperts fostering a culture ofexcellence and continues improvement.

• Part of both tactical and strategic decisions in management team.

Who You Are

You are an experienced leader with a growth mindset and a proventrack recordof managing proactive approach and innovative mindset enable you to challenge conventional thinking and develop strong financial are experienced in business and financialcontrolespecially from an engineering and manufacturing industry have a holistic understanding of the business landscape and like toidentifythe deeper industry andcustomerneedsto understand the business drivers and develop the impactful opportunities from a business control angle.

Experience in managing functions beyond finance like risk compliance and/or legal are a passion forperformance businesscuriosityand improvement you are collaborative and skilled at managing stakeholders.
