In this role you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to company commercial policies and guidelines maintaining pricing integrity across the organization while supporting compliance efforts working under general supervision.
This position conducts detailed analysis of price variances identifies trends and recommends strategic pricing improvements to enhance revenue and protability while assessing margins for low-margin customers and products providing strategic recommendations for improved profitability.
The right candidate will implement advanced pricing tools drive project execution aligned with goals and provide ongoing support for optimal utilization.
The role tracks critical pricing indicators links pricing strategies with key metrics like NPS and market share informing strategic decisions for enhanced market positioning
Your role:
- Analyzes price variances within assigned scopes utilizing detailed data analysis to identify patterns and trends and suggests strategic improvements in pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability across various markets.
- Assists in high-stakes customer negotiations by providing pricing expertise and strategic input ensuring favorable outcomes that align with company objectives and customer needs.
- Works under general supervision assessing margins for low-margin customers and products by conducting in-depth analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement providing strategic recommendations to enhance overall profitability and efficiency.
- Implements and rolls out advanced pricing tools for specific channels or regions driving project execution in alignment with goals ensuring effective adoption and providing ongoing support and training for optimal utilization.
- Tracks and analyzes critical pricing indicators linking pricing strategies with key performance metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and market share to inform strategic decisions and adjustments for improved market positioning.
- Coordinates portfolio and price strategy communication towards Region/Zones ensuring that all relevant information is accurately and promptly disseminated to stakeholders to support market initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
- Facilitates price and margin improvement projects based on consultative insights from various Region/Zones driving continuous improvement in pricing strategies practices and overall profitability.
- Offers pricing guidance and support to sales teams including training and resources to help them effectively communicate pricing strategies and value propositions to customers enhancing their ability to close deals and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Builds productive internal and external working relationships by effectively collaborating and communicating with Sales Marketing and Finance teams acting as a key liaison to enable pricing and distribution optimization and fostering a collaborative environment.
- A transparent overview of all balances (accruals vs commitment vs spend) on customer zone and region level
- Regional SOX compliance on trade spend
- Quarter End Close & Year End Close: Responsible to review quarterly balances (phasing) accrual adjustments as per management discretion but matching SAL07 documentation standards and closure of the rebate agreements
- Responsible for coaching and guidance of the rebate & trade spend managers in the respective country groups to ensure that trade spend balances are accurately reported and that insights in these balances are available for sales and finance team
- Vistex tooling utilization and promotion / budged reporting
Youre the right fit if:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Strategy Auditing or Accounting
- 4 years of experience in Pricing Commercial Finance Strategic Management Auditing or equivalent
- Strong commercial understanding
- Ability to work in a virtual team with a wide array of stakeholders (cross-functional cross-layer)
- Project management skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills but also hands-on
- Strong analytic tool skills (Advanced Excel mandatory and SAP/BW is preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience with working in a business with complex market
