(4) 10 - hour shifts - Monday through Thursday (3 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.)
15% Shift Differential
Position Description
Double E Company is looking for a talented Saw Cutter that wants to be a member of a successful and growing team. If you want to be a part of our success while increasing your skills this is the place for you!
The Saw Operator has the responsibility for cutting and inventorying all bar stock as required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate all automatic horizontal band saws.
- Operate Gun Drill
- Perform cycle counting as required
- Receive material into facility and load on to racks
- Cut and deliver product to work stations as required
- Maintain inventory of metal bars and notifies purchasing when to restock.
- Assist in Shipping as necessary
- Maintain a clean work area
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments helpful.
- Team player and very energetic willing to help when needed.
- Basic understanding and ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be detail oriented.
- Skilled in operation of band saws
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems helpful but will train
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with multiple departments
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a machine shop environment of up to 2-4 years
