Job Summary
- Operate various types of packaging equipment.
- Perform procedural tasks safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot equipment with assistance and solve problems
- Effectively use safety equipment such as respirators and protective clothing.
- Follow operator standard work to maintain packaging line Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Provide feedback and corrective actions when processes during the shift do not meet target OEE.
- Perform procedural operations safely and efficiently
- Operate forklift and various types of packaging equipment
- Work overtime and second shift hours 2:00pm - 10:00pm subject to change.
- Generate and maintain accurate records
- Maintain and improve safety environmental and housekeeping standards.
- Work within site policies & procedures
Qualifications :
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Prior production packaging or quality control experience desired.
- Packaging lines maintain at least 85% Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Participates in near miss/incident reporting and 5WHY/incident investigations.
- Lean idea generation and behavioral based safety observations are completed to promote continuous improvement in the formulation units.
- Forklift operator experience.
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the US. No Relocation Benefits available.
- Must be able to wear the required PPE.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs up to 50 lbs once per day.
