POSITION: Short Notice Substitute Teacher
SALARY: $30.88 per hour
REPORTS TO: PSIS Principal
LOCATION: Pascal Sherman Indian School Omak Washington
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Short Notice position is an on-call role and applicants must be prepared to report to work within one hour of receiving incumbent of this position serves as a fully qualified teacher in a secondary grade setting teaching skills to and developing students knowledge in multiple subjects using courses of study adopted by the Board of Education. Employs a range of instructional techniques and strategies to deliver a cognitively challenging instructional program.

Special Requirements: Excellent writing and public speaking skills outstanding organizational and planning abilities strong ability to work effectively with individuals and groups knowledgeable in the area of instructional methods and theory desire to serve as a team player ability to facilitate groups and problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug addition this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.
TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.
If required of this position you must possess and maintain avalid Washington State drivers license and be eligible for the Tribes Vehicle addition this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
