Student Services Coordinator

Orange East Supervisory Union serving the students families and communities of the following schools: Bradford Elementary School Blue Mountain Union School Newbury Elementary School Oxbow High School River Bend Career and Technical Center Thetford Elementary School and Waits River Valley School is seeking to fill the position of a Student Services Coordinator to provide leadership to a robust Student Services department starting July 1 2026. This position is a 195 days per ResponsibilitiesPromote and uphold a shared vision and mission for special education and student support services aligned with current best practices and integrated with the overall Oxbow High School the development implementation operation and ongoing evaluation of special education programs with parents/guardians school counselors classroom teachers social workers administrators testing specialists and other professionals to identify program needs and support individual student as the Local Education Agency (LEA) representative for Special Education team meetings current knowledge of state and federal laws regulations and guidance related to special district-wide compliance with all regulatory requirements for special education PreK12 including monitoring documentation and corrective action planning as needed assigned by the Student Service consistent and effective communication with the building Principal and the Director of Student Support Services regarding program implementation compliance and student support classroom teachers to design select and modify instructional services learning activities instructional groupings lesson plans materials curricula assessments and teaching strategies to meet the academic vocational physical and social needs of special education students while ensuring appropriate accommodations and and manage workloads assignments and schedules for special education personnel to ensure effective service delivery with the principals and Director of Student with data collection and reporting for Child Identification Child Find and Child Count in relevant local state and national professional development opportunities and professional and evaluate professional staff under the direction of the position in compliance with organizational policies and legal in the recruitment interviewing hiring and retention of special education faculty and staff as positive relationships with families and community agencies to support inclusive practices and student continuous program improvement through data analysis program review and strategic planning initiatives.A detailed job description is available by contacting the OESU Human Resources Department at
