Department Lead Supervisor or Manager

PURPOSEAND SCOPE OF FUNCTION

This position performs welding ofO2 bossesin pre-cuthole end caps/kit to stuffedtubes BRKs/Clips andweldspipes to cans and flanges. Also performs plasma cuttingon O2 bosses.

ESSENTIALJOBDUTIES

WeldsO2 bosses end caps/kits to stuffed tubesand BRKSs.Weldspipes to cans and flanges. Also performs plasma cutting to O2 bosses.

Understands the set-upofalllevel1units.

Clock in and out ofjobsas necessary.

Safelyoperateequipment andmachinery.

Ensures thatweldingequipment isin good and safe working order.

Meets or exceeds set production targets where applicable.

Performs andrecordsrework where applicable.

Report existing or potential machine problems to theLead Supervisor or Manager.

Keep area machinestoolsand equipment cleanorganizedand clear of debris.

Ensure thatjob set ups are properly setupand all components fit before beginning welding.

Ensure that machinesafety protocols are all functional.

Must use correct PPE and dress safely for the job.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

Mustdemonstratestrongaptitude for welding fast and accurately.

Possess requisite math writingreadingand communication skills.

Mustdemonstrateproper use of data sheets after training.

Data entry skills are aplus.

Ability tomanufacturegood qualityproductat the set rate of output.

Able tolift upto 50 lbs.

Ability tomaintainproduction rates to department standards.

Ability to correctly set up and run the product in the correct orderand with the required quality.

Ability to correctly follow and give instructions.

Must be able to communicate well with others and have goodorganizationskills.

Ability to work consistentlywithout constantsupervision.

Steel-toed shoes;no sleeveless shirtsallowed.

Hours as assigned with the probability of overtime during the week and on Saturday.

EDUCATION CREDENTIALS& EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent

Manufacturing experience aplus

WORKINGENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORT

Manufacturing Plant Environment

Equipment 90% of time used

Machinery 10% of time used
