Qualifications
- Associates degree in a technical related field from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of experience in computer support or a related field.
- Valid Florida drivers license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree.
- Four (4) years of experience in computer support or a related field.
- Valid advanced industry certification in computer repair or equivalent.
Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy required qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Maintain troubleshoot repair and upgrade computer hardware and software.
- Inspect diagnose repair and service a variety of computer systems and peripheral audio-visual telecommunications power backup and network equipment.
- Contact vendors to order component parts file warranty claims and resolve issues.
- Utilize a variety of electronic testing and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair problems.
- Consult peer and senior department staff as necessary to resolve issues.
- Document track resolve and report on problems and work orders using a web-based ticket management system.
- Pick up equipment for repair and return to site when complete.
- Prepare technical documentation reports and correspondence.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Respect the confidentiality of records and District information in accordance with accepted professional ethics state and federal laws and Board policy.
- Maintain the confidentiality of information shared by high-level staff as necessary for the completion of duties.
- Utilize common industry and organizational tools for project management technical support documentation and communication.
