Job Summary
St. Matthew Catholic School is looking for a dependable person to join our cafeteria team as a Food Service Assistant. Food service experience is ideal but not required. This position is part time Monday through Friday and will follow the school calendar. The successful candidate will be a reliable team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment. Essential functions: clean utensils equipment storage and food preparation/serving areas. The candidate will also wash and prep fresh fruits and vegetables for our lunch service to include arranging and packaging food. Washing dishes and general clean up of food prep areas will be included. The candidate will also assist the cafeteria manager in completion of work activities as requested.
Upon hire the individual will be required to complete the Catholic Archdiocese Safe Parish training and a criminal background check.
