How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.

Design and development work of turbopumps for liquid and hybrid rocket engines.
Assist in manufacturing and integration of turbopump components and sub-systems
Design and manufacture of turbopump test stands.
Participate in test reviews of turbopumps and related components as required.
Other duties as requested by Management

Mandatory Qualifications Skills and Experience:

Bachelors (BS) degree in an engineering discipline
5 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. developing turbopumps for rocket systems)

Desired Qualifications Skills and Experience:

Experience with the design of turbo machinery and pumps for (cryogenic fluids is a plus)
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software packages
Ability to perform calculations and analysis of turbopump systems
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced challenging work environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred
