Summary
- The Deputy Service Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Service Manager to deliver high-quality and effective services for children young people and their families. This position involves deputising for the Service Manager leading thematic areas within the Youth Justice Service and ensuring the delivery of integrated support that enhances outcomes for children.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Youth Justice Service Development Plan and create local action plans.
- Lead and support quality assurance activities including audits practice observations and thematic reviews.
- Deputise for the Service Manager as required.
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to a multi-agency team ensuring high-quality practice.
- Lead and oversee key thematic areas within the Youth Justice Service.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a culture of learning and development.
- Plan monitor and evaluate service delivery in line with strategic goals and KPIs.

- Working hours: 36 hours per week
- Location: Trinity Road Bootle Merseyside L20 3NJ United Kingdom
- An enhanced DBS is essential.
- This is an office-based role (hybrid minimum 3 days office-based) at Magdalen House Trinity Road Bootle L20.
- Bi-weekly payments.
- The role closes on 6th Feb 2026 apply ASAP.
