Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated professional to handle the installation service repair and preventative maintenance of a wide variety of access and loading dock equipment.

Required Education High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience At least 2 years of experience

As a Service Technician you will be dispatched to industrial commercial and warehouse buildings to perform crucial onsite work ensuring equipment functions reliably and safely. Your responsibilities include:

Installation: Installing new doors dock equipment and related systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
Service & Repair: Diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical issues on various types of equipment.
Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize unexpected downtime.
General Plant Equipment: Assisting with the maintenance and repair of general plant equipment as needed or requested by the customer.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical and/or electrical aptitude is essential.
Experience with industrial doors (overhead roll-up sectional) and/or loading dock equipment (levelers restraints) is highly desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with clients onsite.
Commitment to working safely and following all company and site safety protocols.
