| Job Summary: |
Performs professional work in planning developing implementing conducting and coordinating statewide training and development programs including conducting needs assessments establishing training requirements and developing and evaluating training programs and resources. Performs related duties as assigned.
| Minimum Qualifications: |
Requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business or public administration education or a social or behavioral science or related fieldandthree (3) years of professional training or development experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Postgraduate education in one of the above fields may substitute for the required experience based on 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of education equal to one (1) year of experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office setting.
May be required to lift or carry up to 50 pounds of training equipment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver license.
Statewide travel may be required to perform certain work functions.
Progression to the next step requires an overall performance rating of at least Standard in the last 12 months.

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period.
