Position Overview:

The HRIS & Benefits Analyst supports and enhances PrefTechs HR technology environment through expert administration of BambooHR Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and related HR platforms. This role ensuresaccurateemployee data efficient workflows seamless benefits administration and a positive HR user experience.The analystwill partner with multiple departments andleadership tooptimizesystems ensure compliance and drive datadriven HR operations. This position is critical to PrefTechs ongoing efforts to streamline processes and advanceintegration.This includes but is not limited to the following functions:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for BambooHR across modules.
  • Maintain and support D365 HR workflows related to employee lifecycle and organizational data.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues escalate to vendors as needed and manage ticket resolution.
  • Maintain system security rolebased permissions and audit trails to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Monitor system performanceidentifyprocess and configuration improvements and proactively address system needs.
  • Support theHRISintegration including field mapping sync accuracy error tracking and documenting enhancements.Actively conduct training needs analysis and reconcile gaps on a continuous basis including forecast of the near expiry training activities.
  • Collaborate with HR Payroll Finance IT and Operations tooptimizeworkflow efficiency and systemutilization.
  • Conduct monthlybenefitsinvoice reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support regulatory compliance such as ACA reporting 401(k) audits and Section 125 nondiscrimination testing.
  • Create andmaintainprocess documentation SOPs test scripts and configuration logs.
  • Identifyopportunities to enhance HR automation employee experience and data flow across systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant on HRIS best practices.


RequiredQualifications:

  • 5 years of HRISwithHR Operationsand benefitexperience.
  • Handson experience administering BambooHR (preferred) or similar HRIS.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (hiretoretire benefits compensation recruiting timekeeping).
  • Proficiencywith reporting tools and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervisionwhile delivering high-quality results.
  • Customer-serviceorientation and ability to manage deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365(D365).
  • Knowledge of compliance: ACA Section 125 ERISA HIPAA 401(k) processes.
  • Experience training users and supporting change management.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Benefitreconciliation experience.

Work Hours& Travel:

Hybrid rolewithabilityto commute to our Houston office.Our office hours are from Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Some events may fall outside of these days/hours.Travel is 10-20% to Pref-Tech offices job sitesandconferences.

Physical Requirements:

This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to sit for extended periodsoperatea computer and standard office equipment and communicate effectively in person and electronically.
