Job Summary/Objective
Reporting to the Production Unit Manager an Operations Maintenance Coordinator job description involves managing the interface between the maintenance planning and operations work streams to ensure the scoping and scheduling of the operating departments maintenance needs are aligned with the production requirements. Essential Functions
Planning and Scheduling:
The OMC is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and facilities are maintained effectively. This includes coordinating regular maintenance repairs and inspections to minimize downtime.
Work Order/Notification Management:
The OMC manages and tracks maintenance requests and work orders from initiation to completion ensuring that tasks are prioritized and executed efficiently.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with industry safety standards and legal regulations is a critical part of the OMCs role. They must maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for reporting and decision-making purposes.

Work Experience
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelors degree in engineering Architecture Construction Management or related field
Work Environment
Primarily working outside in a manufacturing environment.
Exposed to the elements heat cold rain etc.
