  • Total Weekly Hours: 37.5

  • Shift Time: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to individuals requiring continuous cardiac monitoring utilizing strong clinical judgment and telemetry interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients on a cardiac telemetry unit

  • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities

  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately

  • Collaborate with physicians charge nurses and interdisciplinary care teams

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and changes in patient condition

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and safety standards

  • Accurately document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or state license accepted as applicable)

  • Minimum 12 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry experience

  • BLS certification (AHA required)
