Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves conducting radiographic fluoroscopic and portable examinations across multiple departments including inpatient units outpatient services and surgical areas. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety regulatory compliance and professional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Perform radiographic examinations per physician orders
Conduct diagnostic fluoroscopic and portable imaging procedures
Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation protection standards
Demonstrate versatility across all areas of the diagnostic radiology department
Assist with scheduling imaging exams and notify supervisors when necessary
Utilize computerized systems for exam lookup ordering reprinting and cancellations
Coordinate patient transportation using centralized transport systems
Report equipment issues promptly to Clinical Engineering and management
Communicate equipment concerns effectively through written and verbal methods
Maintain availability for assignments and on-call support as required
Assist in training and supporting Radiologic Technologist students
Perform duties related to quality assurance regulatory compliance (ODH Joint Commission) and departmental audits
Support supply ordering staff scheduling and operational workflow
Maintain confidentiality and appropriate access to patient records as required for imaging operations
Collaborate professionally with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Understanding of isolation sterile techniques and patient safety practices
Proficiency in patient positioning and operation of radiographic equipment
Experience working with X-ray machines and imaging printers
Education
Required:
Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT Certification (Required)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
