In this Field Clinical Specialist temporary role based in Lisbon you will develop clinical education materials in connection with clinical investigations. You will also provide expertise and clinical insights on the device procedure and protocol throughout the life cycle of clinical investigation. The scope of the role is the south of Portugal Extremadura and Seville and the travel time will be approximately 50% of the time.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provide education on all aspects of the device device handling implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment tools and products required for device implants.

  • Educate and train physicians hospital personnel and staff on technical matters related to investigational products and procedures by conducting and/or coordinating oneonone ad-hoc training sessions and structured in-service education programs.

  • Maintain product inservice activities and ensure that customers are prepared to use Edwards products.

  • Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.

  • Responsible for the certification of centers physicians and other related staff as well as Edwards personnel as outlined within Edwards SOPs.

  • Interact with KOLs and proctors.

  • Continuously improve training curriculum materials and tools based on clinical trial experience Edwards guidelines and SOPs.

  • During commercial procedures provide physicians and medical staff with the required followup support to ensure continuity of education and technical support related to all aspects affecting patient outcomes.

  • Learn the product(s) physiology anatomy applications and the language of the market and Edwards Lifesciences.

What youll need (Required):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field (Nursing Biomedical Engineering Pharma).

  • 1 year of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience and/or training experience in a clinical or technical environment.

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Good computer skills in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office equipment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication presentation and interpersonal skills both in English Spanish and Portuguese.

  • Good problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy pathology and physiology.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment including with immediate supervisors and other team members.

  • Ability to build stable working relationships internally.

  • Adherence to all company rules and requirements.
