The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members with a variety of services including field operations fundraising support communications assistance digital strategy research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations along with Democratic Members from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.
Due to the cyclic nature of our organization all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.
Position Summary:
The Deputy Digital Director supports the Director of Digital Strategies in advising and executing the digital strategy of the Committee and target Congressional campaigns. They will work cross-departmentally to execute National and District-specific strategy and advising while supporting department programming and functions.
Responsibilities:
- Program Development: work closely with the Director of Digital Strategies to develop Committee-wide programming including paid media work with content creators and campaign organic media
- Collaborate with other DCCC departments and the Director of Digital Strategies to identify opportunities and gaps for digital priorities ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns from ideation to reporting
- Vendor Management: In partnership with the DCCCs vendors and teams manage consultant relationships ensuring deadlines are met while prioritizing budget efficiency and plan execution
- Media Tracking: Monitor digital paid media across the House Battlefield
- Reporting: Analyze and produce regular reports reflecting the Committees digital programming and impact on the Battlefield
- Perform regular admin tasks as needed including tracking and processing invoices and other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the DCCCs digital program
Requirements
- Minimum two cycles of experience in Democratic programs focusing on digital programming
- Demonstrated ability to execute cross-departmental program effectively
- Strong understanding of digital media planning and buying
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines are met
- At least one cycle of experience on a campaign is preferred but not required
- Experience working with content creators is preferred but not required
