Legal Administrative Assistant Estate & Wealth Advisory Group

Salary Range: $60000 $75000 benefits
Our client a well-established Vancouver law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Estate & Wealth Advisory Group. This role supports senior lawyers with practices focused on estate and incapacity planning trust planning estate administration and related corporate matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LAA who enjoys working with complex files values precision and thrives in a professional fast-paced environment.
The Role
This position provides comprehensive administrative and legal support to lawyers in a busy estates and wealth advisory practice including both client-facing and behind-the-scenes responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with estate administration files including correspondence court forms and supporting documentation
- Preparing formatting editing and proofreading estate planning documents such as Wills Powers of Attorney Representation Agreements and trust documents
- Supporting general corporate matters including incorporations reorganizations and ongoing corporate maintenance
- Managing client communications and coordinating document signings and witnessing
- Maintaining Outlook calendars key dates bring-forward systems and scheduling internal and external meetings
- Organizing and maintaining complex legal files and document management systems
- Assisting with meeting preparation presentations and special projects
- Handling time entry billing and expense processes from start to finish
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program
- 35 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a law firm or professional services environment
- Experience with estates trusts and/or corporate law is a strong asset
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF; experience with legal document management and accounting systems is an asset
- Ability to multitask prioritize and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Compensation
- Salary range of $60000 $75000 commensurate with experience
