What Youll Do
Interns are placed in various finance & accounting organizations across Chevrons integrated value chain Upstream Midstream and Downstream. Internships showcase the energy industrys complexities and allow interns to solve real business problems and optimize processes creatively. Interns will also have opportunities to learn about and apply new digital technologies (i.e. PowerApps dashboards data analytics) to enable better faster decision making.
Your initial responsibilities will depend on which division you join but may include:
- Management of all the main processes of the companys accounting cycle:
- Banks and treasury
- Accounts receivables
- Inventories
- Fixed assets and projects
- Purchase to pay cycle.
- Local and foreign taxes
- Support to the sales cycle of the industry.
- Intercompany transactions
- Master Data
- Account Reconciliations
- Performance reports and business analysis
- Preparation of financial statements of the different companies
Requirements
- Students in their 3rd year of university
- Fluent in written and oral English.
- Digital Skills (not mandatory but preferred)
Hours per week: 20 hours.
Internship duration: 12 months with the possibility of extending for 6 more months.
Location: Puerto Madero CABA
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
