Job Summary
Our client is a boutique marketing agency specializing in healthcare focused clients. They are seeking an experienced SEO and GEO consultant to provide senior level guidance strategy and oversight for their SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) services. This is a remote freelance engagement with a small initial scope and strong potential to grow as the agency continues to build out its SEO and GEO offering.
Key Responsibilities
Provide senior level SEO and GEO strategy and oversight for healthcare and plastic surgery clients
Analyze and interpret insights to inform GEO strategy content recommendations and AI visibility
Translate findings into actionable recommendations for blogs FAQs PR mentions and authority building content
Lead local SEO strategy with a strong focus on Google Business Profile optimization including FAQs and content repurposing
Evaluate and advise on the current SEO tech stack including the necessity of tools such as Ahrefs
Review and provide clear direction on a multi channel Looker dashboard including defining KPIs charts and performance metrics
Provide feedback and guidance to a tactical SEO resource on execution and prioritization
Support technical SEO efforts including site speed metadata updates and WordPress optimization
Ensure all recommendations and tools align with HIPAA compliance requirements
Communicate clearly and confidently with the agency owner and when needed client stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in SEO and GEO strategy at a senior or consulting level
Hands on experience with or similar AI visibility and GEO platforms
Strong knowledge of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals including site performance and metadata
Experience evaluating SEO tools and tech stacks for cost effectiveness and impact
Ability to interpret data and explain insights in clear non technical language
Experience working with healthcare or regulated industries with an understanding of HIPAA compliance
Comfortable working in a consulting capacity with limited hours and defined scope
Engagement Details
Initial scope is small and project based estimated at a few hours per month
Flexible schedule
Fully remote
