Position Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating diagnosing and treating speech language fluency voice and communication disorders. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and delivering therapy services to meet the needs of the assigned population. The SLP works collaboratively with educators families and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate speech language fluency voice and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct therapy services in individual and/or group settings
Prepare written evaluations progress notes and maintain accurate documentation
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings (for school-based roles)
Collaborate with teachers families and multidisciplinary teams
Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Ensure compliance with applicable state federal and local regulations
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience with pediatric populations or assigned client group preferred
