Job Summary
Bring your energy to Aggreko as anelectrical engineering apprentice in Doncaster.Youllgain hands-on experience working alongside skilledelectricalengineers.Maintainservice and repair.All ourelectricalequipmentfromelectrical distribution systemsfrompanel boards switchboardstocable management primarily within low voltage ranges.All the timedeveloping essentialelectricaland safety skills.

Your day as an apprentice:
As an Aggreko apprentice no two daysare the same. Each day begins with a team briefing focused on safety and priorities.Youllthenwork closely with aseniorengineeron a wide range of taskson sitefrom equipmenttesting andpreparation toelectricalservicing and fault diagnosis. Throughoutyoullbuild practical skills with hands-on support and guidance alwaysworking safelyto keep everyone safe.
Whatyoulllearn anddo
Assistcable team with cablecolouridentification and hand tool usage / Learn andapply product-specific codes for electrical items
Work on low voltage electrical distribution including distribution boards panels switchboards and cable management understanding input/output and progressing towards electrical testing of equipment and systems.
Develop your knowledge and confidence using a range of hand tools
Worksafelytokeep everyone safe
Collaborate with teams to deliver excellent service and contribute to key projects
Use IT tools like laptops and mobile devices to support your work
Balancepractical work experience with college study towards a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technicianqualification

Whatyouneed toapply
Five GCSEs (or predicted) at grade 4/C or above including English and Maths
A positive and reliable attitude
Good communicationand teamwork skills
Be aproblem-solver always willing totake onachallenge
Youllneed to be at least 17years old by August 2026 to meet safety requirements
