Job Summary

The D365 Program Manager is the central orchestrator for the D365 implementation within Asia accountable for defining planning and executing the project while ensuring alignment with the global blueprint and addressing specific local requirements. They lead regional teams manage stakeholders mitigate risks and oversee change management to deliver a successful compliant and adopted D365 solution.

The main areas of responsibility for this role are:

Regional Scope & Planning Management

  • Define and manage the regional project scope ensuring alignment with the global D365 blueprint while addressing specific local business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed regional project plans including timelines milestones resource allocation and budget in coordination with global project leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for regional business stakeholders IT teams and 3rd parties
  • Facilitate effective communication channels between regional teams and the global project management office (PMO) ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Manage expectations and secure buy-in from regional leadership and end-users.

Team Leadership & Resource Management

  • Lead and motivate the regional project team including functional consultants technical developers and business analysts.
  • Ensure appropriate allocation and utilisation of regional resources managing their performance and development.

Risk Issue & Change Management

  • Identify assess and mitigate regional project risks (e.g. data migration challenges integration complexities local regulatory hurdles).
  • Manage and resolve regional issues escalating to global leadership when necessary.
  • Oversee regional change management activities including user adoption strategies training and communication plans to ensure a smooth transition.

Budget & Quality Control

  • Monitor and control the regional project budget ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Ensure the quality of regional deliverables including solution design configuration testing and documentation meeting both global standards and local expectations.

Compliance & Localisation

  • Ensure the D365 solution is configured to meet all regional legal tax and industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Manage localisation efforts such as language packs regional reporting and specific business processes.

Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support

  • Coordinate regional go-live activities ensuring readiness and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Oversee regional hypercare and transition to ongoing support gathering feedback and addressing initial post-implementation issues.

Qualifications :

 

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience of an ERP implementation (Dynamics preferable) but other ERPs considered e.g. SAP/ Oracle etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in a regional role

Key attributes

  • Excellent oral and written communications and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Mandarin Japanese and / or Korean language proficiency would be an advantage
