We are seeking a passionate relationship-driven Human Resources Advisor to join our Human Resources team based at our Aquila Mine in Middlemount. This fast paced and dynamic position is based on site where you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the mines Human Resources performance targets and assist in governing the application of corporate and site Human Resources systems in this true hands on Human Resources Generalist role.
- Act as one of the first point of contact for Human Resources and payroll queries resolving issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and leaders across the site.
- Support the delivery of Human Resources plans and key performance indicators.
- Support with advice across a broad spectrum of areas including recruitment Human Resources metrics and development.
- Partner with leaders to drive engagement and workforce planning initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the Human Resources function.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in a HR Generalist/Business Partnership role
- Knowledge of relevant state and Australian employment legislation.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to negotiate to influence and achieve stakeholder;
- A resilient nature with openness for change
- Demonstrated ability to drive best practice.
- Experience within the mining industry is preferred but not mandatory
