POSITION: CDL Driver/Jockey Driver
PAY RATE: Grade 2
DEPARTMENT: Warehouse
SHIFT:B shift
Purpose and role of job:
Responsible for tracking trailer movement keeping the yard organized; perform preventative maintenance on equipment and truck.
Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
- Observes all safety rules and always uses the proper safety equipment.
- Follows necessary GMP FDA and ISO regulation/guidelines.
- Responsible for trailer movement within the Lewistown facility.
- Yard organization and housekeeping.
- Preventative maintenance and housekeeping of switcher truck.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
- Maintains accurate yard inventories and trailer pools.
- Assist with security.
- Ability to operate safely in a fast pace environment.
- Strong communication and learning skills.
- Ability to work in a team orientated environment.
- Ability to operate all warehouse material handling equipment.
- Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
Education and experience requirements:
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Radio Frequency (RF) skills.
