• Clean and maintain resident rooms and common areas

• Vacuum sanitize and prepare rooms for new residents

Qualifications :

Housekeeping Aide:  Officially we title this job a Housekeeping Aide but in other centers it may be called a Housekeeper Janitor Custodian Environmental Services Assistant (EVS) or a Laundry Aide.

What we need from you:

• At least 1 year similar experience in a medical / healthcare facility or commercial cleaning setting (strongly preferred)
• Must be 18 years of age or older AND hold a High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding of Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) safety and sanitation rules
• Ability to read write speak and understand English
• Ability to regularly push pull move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds and pass a pre-employment physical and background check.  This position will require extended periods of walking and standing to perform duties

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT.  We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs) Short-term Care Rehabilitation Intermediate Care (ICFs) and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
