IT Business Analyst Pre-Trade

Location: NYC (Hybrid at least 3 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team and support initiatives across Global Macro (Rates FX) Equities / Securities Lending and Credit businesses.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing algorithmic trading and real-time trading applications working closely with business stakeholders and international IT teams in an agile environment.

Role and responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Trading Sales Operations) to gather analyze and document requirements for algorithmic trading systems and real-time applications.
• Analyze business processes within Global Securities Financing and Equities to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Produce detailed functional specifications use cases and workflow documentation to guide development teams.
• Act as a liaison between business users developers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives scope and deliverables.
• Perform data analysis to support trading workflows and decision-making (e.g. order flows execution market data).
• Participate in testing validation and user acceptance phases to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Provide ongoing support to end users including issue analysis functional clarifications and occasional training.

Qualifications :

• MIN 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services ideally in trading pre-trade or real-time systems.
• Strong understanding of Equities and/or Global Securities Financing business.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and protocols such as SQL Excel and FIX messages.
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as Fidessa ION Bloomberg EMSX Horizon Dash Financials or similar solutions.
• Solid experience working in agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
