Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marine Monitoring Officer to join our team on a fixed term contract. This role will help deliver a variety of marine monitoring projects throughout Englandfocussingprimarilyon the East Coast.

Youll perform operational shifts working on our Coastal Survey VesselHumber Guardian covering the coast between Berwick and Great Yarmouth. This will include extended periods andweekends working away from your are not operational on a vesselyou will manage data tasks and support projects. Please refer to ouradditionalinformation document for further details on the role.

The post is based in our Peterborough office but other EA base locationsin the Midlands and the north of Englandwill be considered please contact us to discuss. The contract for the post is annualised hours and attracts a 15% shift allowance on top of basic salary.

The successful applicant willbe requiredto pass either a ML5 or ENG1 medical before employment. Failure to pass a medical will prevent the applicant from being employed.

The role requires travelling between locationson a regular basisand as a result requires a full UK driving licence.
