The Root Cellar Village Green Grocer is now hiringa Part Time Grocery Clerk to join our expanding specialty grocery team!
Grocery Clerks are responsible for maintainingstock levels product quality and display appearance in the grocery and dairydepartments as well as providing an exemplary customer service experience.
- Merchandise products tomaximize sales customer satisfaction and complement overall store appearance.
- Consistently provideexcellent service to all customers.
- Gain product and supplierknowledge in order to better serve customers.
- Maintain the cleanlinessand organization of all displays and backstock areas.
- Effectively face datecheck and rotate product to minimize product loss.
- Assist in the building andmaintenance of grocery displays.

- Preference given forretail customer service experience or previous grocery experience.
- The ability to multitaskand work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- A flair for organizationand order in your surroundings.
- The physical ability toperform repetitive tasks stand for long periods of time work in a coolenvironment and lift 25-50 pounds.
- Open availability and aflexible schedule including Thursday Friday and Saturday mornings. 12 to 16 hours available.
