Reporting to the Research Manager Centre for Applied AI (CAAI) the incumbent is responsible for managing and providing technical support for specific research projects within their domain of expertise and students and staff will report directly to the Research Lead. The incumbent participates in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of assigned research projects in compliance with CAAI Sheridan and funder policies. The incumbent manages projects from drafting proposal resource allocation through execution to closure. Additionally the incumbent will act as the Principal Investigator (PI) for specified research projects within their field of their capacity as the PI they will also be accountable for recruiting supervising and providing mentorship to students and staff involved in these projects.

First Nations peoples have lived on this part of Turtle Island for millennia stewarding the land the water and all that contributes to life in this region. Today the culture and presence of First Nations Inuit and Metis peoples enrich the lands and people of this territory.
