We are supporting Housing Choices Australia a respected not-for-profit housing provider as they seek an experienced Housing Officer to join theirTasmania team on a 12-month contract.
This role has been created due to internal movements and includes a combination of ongoing hours and maternity leave coverage.
About the role- Based in Devonport and/or Shorewell Park (some travel between sites may be required
- Working across village-style housing and broader tenancy portfolios
- Opportunity to embed yourself in a regional community-focused role

This role will suit someone who is comfortable managing competing priorities and can confidently support tenants with varying and complex needs.
What youll be doing- Managing tenancy relationships to support sustainable long-term housing
- Coordinating rent management property inspections and tenancy risks
- Supporting tenants experiencing vulnerability or housing instability
- Collaborating with Allocations Sustainment and NDIS teams
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring legislative and policy compliance
About you- Demonstrated experience managing tenancies insocial/community housing or private real estate
- Strong customer service focus with a calm empathetic approach
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confidence working across multiple sites and independently when required
- Understanding of tenancy legislation and compliance requirements
- Relevant qualifications in housing community services or similar (or equivalent experience)
