Temporarily Full-Time (100% FTE) position with the University of Hawaii (UH) at Manoa College of Engineering working on multiple projects including Polit Connected Automated Vehicle System Investigations for Enhanced Safety and Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities in Hawaii and other cybersecurity-transportation projects. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs satisfactory work performance availability of funds and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.

Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts research focusing on AI data analytics cybersecurity literature synthesis which includes: Analyzing traffic data preparing training datasets for AI-based traffic sensing model development reviewing cybersecurity-transportation related literature synthesizing the latest cybersecurity research development preparing technical reports and journal/conference publications. Assists with research grant applications. Works with graduate students on relevant research projects.
