An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Industrial Air Filtration division for a Territory Manager covering the West Midlands region.

DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the role is to sell dust filtration systems and equipment successfully through OEMs re-sellers and end users. To be successful in this position you will be a self-motivated and a target driven individual with proven sales experience. Along with a strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills you will have the competitive desire and drive to succeed and gain results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure sales and profitability targets are achieved and exceeded.
  • Maintain and develop strong customer relationships ensuring customer enquiries are dealt with efficiently as well as developing and maintaining effective relationships with OEMs re-sellers and end users
  • Continued new business development of the area for first fit equipment sales as well as aftersales and servicing opportunities
  • Increase and maintain awareness of local market conditions including market mapping to support in identifying new key customers
  • Strong focus on generating new business.
  • Desire to identify and understand end user application needs.
  • Utilise current Donaldson network to open new revenue streams with existing accounts.
  • Able to prepare and present sales presentations and undertake sales administration and CRM tasks in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all commercial aspects of sales transactions are in the best interest of the company.

YOUR PROFILE:

The successful Territory Manager must be a self-motivated and target driven individual with proven sales engineering experience. A proven self-starter with the confidence and entrepreneurial flair to work in an autonomous role.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Mechanical Engineering background ONC/HNC/Degree or equivalent.

OR

  • Minimum 5 years experience of dust fume and oil mist equipment and systems or related products.
  • Knowledge of air movement and ducted systems would be an advantage.
  • Experience of reading interpreting and understanding technical drawings.
  • IT Literate specifically in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full clean driving license to attend customer sites as required and support the sales team
  • Driven to provide a high level of customer service and building strong working relationships
  • Preferable to have previous experience in supporting a sales team and maintaining a CRM system
