Position: Project Engineer

Location: Indianapolis IN (on site)

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Project Engineer to join our Civil Group. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of site development and municipal infrastructure projects across multiple market sectors.

As a Project Engineer you will support the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects while collaborating across disciplines and mentoring junior staff.

• Prepare conceptual preliminary and final site design plans for commercial institutional and public projects.
• Develop grading drainage utility and stormwater management designs using applicable local and state standards.
• Prepare and review construction documents technical specifications cost estimates and permit applications.
• Coordinate project design activities with internal disciplines subconsultants and clients.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater conveyance and detention systems.
• Develop erosion control and regulatory compliance plans in accordance with IDEM and municipal requirements.
• Mentor and assist junior engineers and CAD designers ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Provide technical support during permitting and construction administration phases.
• Participate in project meetings with clients contractors and review agencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in civil/site design or municipal infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
• Knowledge of IDEM DOT and local stormwater and utility standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
