About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer in Advance Microsoft Technologies located in Midland MI and Houston TX. As a Senior Developer you will lead the design development and deployment of enterprise software solutions using Microsoft Azure Power Platform and AI technologies. Mentor junior developers collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive Agile project delivery across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain modern web and mobile applications using Angular Core frameworks.

• Modernize and upgrade legacy Angular applications to the latest versions for improved security performance and compatibility.

• Architect design and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps Canvas & Model-Driven Power Automate) to optimize and automate business processes.

• Develop secure high-performing REST APIs and integrate them seamlessly with front-end applications.

• Design and build scalable solutions by leveraging Azure services (App Services Functions Logic Apps) and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• Apply a product-centric approach to create solutions that are scalable reusable and adaptable for multiple business units external customers and multi-tenant environments.

• Design and implement monitoring solutions to track KPIs improve user experience and reduce application maintenance costs.

• Collaborate with Dow enterprise architects to define architecture strategies and ensure adherence to development and architecture standards.

• Conduct code reviews to enforce security coding standards and architectural compliance.

• Continuously adopt and promote Microsoft best practices libraries and emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and quality.

• Integrate AI capabilities (Azure AI Cognitive Services OpenAI APIs) to deliver intelligent automation and enhanced user experiences.

• Work closely with product owners business analysts developers and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure timely delivery across global teams.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies manage sprints and backlogs and contribute to all phases of the SDLCrequirements design development testing deployment and maintenance.

• Provide production and testing support troubleshooting issues resolve defects and perform migration activities to ensure smooth releases and system stability.

• Prepare and maintain technical design and architecture documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.

• Develop test automation strategies and scripts to improve quality and efficiency.

• Ensure application security scalability and performance through compliance with Dow development standards.

Technical Skills

• Front-End: Angular (Latest versions) Java/TypeScript HTML5 CSS3.

• Back-End: C# .NET Core RESTful API development. familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python is a plus.

• Power Platform: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) Power Automate Dataverse AI Builder.

• Cloud: Azure App Services Functions Logic Apps Azure SQL.

• DevOps: GitHub Actions Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Database: SQL Server Azure SQL. Cosmos DB

• Security: OAuth RBAC data governance.

• Proficiency in using GitHub Copilot for accelerating development & various activities and deliverables of SDLC

• AI & Automation: Azure Cognitive Services OpenAI APIs LLM integration AI Builder for Power Platform.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelors degree or 5 years relevant experience or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking OR 5 years of relevant experienced in lieu of a Bachelors degree.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Agile project management and SDLC leadership.

• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

• Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert Power Platform Developer Associate) are a plus.

Your Skills

• SAP BW 7.5 on HANA Development: Deep expertise in data modeling ETL processes transformations and performance tuning within BW 7.5 on HANA.

• Modern SAP Platform Proficiency (S/4HANA SAC BTP): Skilled in next-generation SAP technologies supporting migration efforts and building scalable analytics and reporting solutions.

• Cloud Data Integration (Azure Databricks Synapse ADF): Ability to integrate SAP systems with cloud data platforms using Azure services and Databricks to enable hybrid SAPcloud architectures.

• Performance Optimization & Solution Engineering: Strong capability to optimize BW data flows improve data reliability and security and translate highlevel solution designs into production-ready implementations.

• Communication Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with experience contributing in agile or hybrid project environments.
