Location: Rochester NY
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift 3x12-Hour Shifts
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Total Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to join an acute care hospital team on a travel assignment. This role involves delivering high-quality patient-centered nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled adaptable and comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry alarms
Perform patient assessments develop care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care and assessments in the electronic medical record
Identify and report changes in patient condition promptly
Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and safety standards
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York or compact where applicable)
Minimum 12 years of recent MS/Tele or acute care hospital experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
