Hours: 30 per week Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm term time plus 5 inset days
Salary: Grade 1 and scale point range 3-4 12.85 - 13.05 Actual Salary 17273 - 17544 (Full time equivalent 24796 - 25185)

The Role
We are looking for a reliable energetic and friendly General Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to make a tangible difference to the daily lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing salads sandwiches and simple cooked dishes using fresh high-quality ingredients.
- Operate till systems manage queues and provide excellent customer service to pupils and staff.
- Maintain high standards by cleaning equipment washing crockery and monitoring food temperatures in line with regulations.
- Help set up the dining hall clear tables and support special school events such as parents evenings and conferences.
