We are looking for a fixed-term Legal Administrator to support within our Auckland Litigation team covering for a 12 month period of maternity leave. This role will keep you busy with a varied and interesting workload while working within a social and supportive environment.
Experience in a legal environment would be beneficial but is not essential. We would love to receive applications from candidates with a strong professional services administrative or PA background.
The role will include:
- Providing proactive and professional support including calendar email and meeting management
- Administering the onboarding of new clients and opening of matters incl. supporting the AML process
- Leading the billing matter management client reporting and debtor management processes
- Producing legal and correspondence documents to a high standard within specified time-frames
- Facilitating Chapman Tripps client relationships and business development through the use of InterAction Aderant and other tools/systems
- Working collaboratively within the team and across the firm
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a legal support or PA/Admin support role
- Strong client service focus
- Poise under pressure high self-motivation and positivity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organisation and time-management skills
- IT savvy and adaptable nature
- Pro-active forward-thinking approach
